Frustrated with road construction in the West End/Winston Road Neighbourhood? Well, if you also use the South Service Road we have some good news and bad news for you.
Let’s start off with the bad news. In order to complete road re-surfacing on the South Service Road, the Region will be closing the SSR between Casablanca and Kelson Avenue.
The good news… they will do this on a block by block basis, which should come as a welcome relief (somewhat) to area businesses and commuters that use the South Service Road. Additionally the construction work is expected to only take a week (July 10 – July 18).
As always, be mindful of those working in the construction zones. Drive safe!
