As a follow-up post to Friday’s “GO Train Update & Council Agenda Raises Questions“, we did some digging to try and get a better feel of the latest Metrolinx press release on GO in Niagara and the “information explicitly supplied in confidence” to the Town. It seems there is something significant on the table, what that is will be interesting to find out.

The good folks at A Better Niagara are hosting a workshop that will give you an overview of the election process and the do’s and dont’s of running a great campaign.
The event will be held on March 21 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Beamsville Legion in Grimsby, located at 5545 King Street in Grimsby.
Well, hope that everyone had great summer… kids are back in school (most of them) and the meeting schedule at Town Hall is picking up once again. With the days growing shorter, meetings are back to their regular times for the rest of the schedule.
As Council will be taking a break for a month (next meeting is July 17th) there seemed to be a lot of ground covered and a packed audience to go along with the proceedings. The agenda and following discussions were definitely a mixed bag of treats.
Town Council takes a final seating on Monday June 19th, 2017 before taking a short break for a month. While most of the agenda is just a “pass-through” of the items covered in recent committee meanings, there are a few notable items that caught our eye.
